Peppy vs Dose Track: two peptide trackers that do the math

Dose Track is a pharmacokinetics-first tracker for peptides, TRT and GLP-1s on iPhone and Android with lab tracking and a dose simulator at $69.99 a year, so pick it for TRT, bloodwork or Android. Peppy is iPhone-only, simpler, $29.99 a year, and stronger on body-map rotation and reconstitution math.

Who each app is for
Peppy vs Dose Track is the closest matchup on this list, because both apps assume you inject more than one thing and both do the math. Dose Track describes itself as "pharmacokinetic-grade tracking" for peptides, TRT and GLP-1s. It models every dose against half-life and Tmax, plots plasma levels against target ranges, ingests lab PDFs with OCR, and lets you preview a protocol change in a "Dial-In simulator" before you make it. It runs on iPhone and Android with a dark-first interface. If you are on testosterone, care about bloodwork, or want to see what a change would do to your curve, Dose Track is the more capable tool.
Peppy is narrower and lighter. It is iPhone-only, covers 123 peptides and GLP-1s (no TRT, no labs), and puts the day-to-day in front: the countdown to your next shot, a body map that picks the site for you, units from the calculator, and weight and side effects tied to each dose. It costs less than half as much per year.
Feature by feature
The table is what each app claims on its own site or App Store page as of 2026-08-30.
Compounds. Dose Track claims 600+ compounds. Peppy's 123 come with a form (vial, pen, capsule), default unit, typical frequency, dose ladder, half-life and a plain-English description, so protocol setup is a search rather than a form. If your compound is not there, add a custom one. For TRT, thyroid or SERMs, use Dose Track.
Levels and simulation. Both chart estimated levels. Dose Track adds Tmax, target ranges and a simulator. Peppy's "Active in your system" curve (Pro) is a half-life estimate from your logged doses, labelled as an estimate, not a measurement. If the curve is the reason you want an app, Dose Track goes deeper.
Site rotation. Dose Track logs sites per compound and nudges you off overused tissue with "too soon" alerts. Peppy shows a 13-site front and back silhouette, marks the suggested site, shows "last used 6 days ago", and rotates across all your protocols together, with a heat-map (Pro). Peppy's is the more visual of the two; both solve the problem.
Inventory and cycles. Dose Track does not list vial inventory or on/off cycles. Peppy (Pro) counts doses left per vial with a runs-out date and refill alert, and auto-skips off days on a 5 on/2 off cycle. See peptide vial inventory tracker and peptide cycle tracker.
Labs. Dose Track only. Peppy has no bloodwork feature and does not plan one in 2.x.
Pricing
Dose Track's free tier covers dose logging and reminders. Pro is $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year.
Peppy's free tier is one active protocol, logging with the body map, calendar, the calculator, check-ins, site rotation, Apple Health and iCloud. Pro is $29.99 a year or $5.99 a week with a 7-day trial and unlocks reminders, insights charts, unlimited protocols, cycles and titration, inventory, photos, export and widgets. Note that reminders are free in Dose Track and Pro in Peppy.
Privacy and data
These two agree. Dose Track says your data is "100% on-device", never touches its servers and is never sold; it syncs through your private iCloud. Its App Store label lists only analytics data not linked to you. Peppy is the same shape: no account, no server, on-device plus your iCloud, and a PDF or CSV export (Pro) that you control. Either is a safe choice if privacy is the deciding factor; see private peptide tracker.
How to do this in Peppy
- Protocols tab, tap +, search each compound. Add BPC-157, then TB-500, then your GLP-1 (unlimited protocols is Pro; one is free). Give each a color.
- In each vial protocol, open the Calculator: vial mg, water mL, dose. Peppy shows the units and flags a dose that will not fit a 1 mL syringe. Always verify with your prescriber.
- Calendar: tap past days and use Add dose to carry your history across.
- Settings: switch on "Sync weight with Apple Health" so your weight chart starts with history, not from zero.
- Set cycles and inventory in the protocol editor (Pro); the Today list then skips off days and warns before you run out.
Frequently asked
Is Dose Track free?
Dose Track has a free tier it calls "$0 / forever" with dose logging and reminders, and a Pro tier at $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year. Peppy's Pro is $29.99 a year or $5.99 a week with a 7-day trial.
Does Dose Track track peptides like BPC-157?
Yes. Dose Track lists BPC-157, TB-500, ipamorelin and HGH alongside GLP-1s and testosterone esters, and claims over 600 compounds. Peppy ships 123 with descriptions, forms, half-lives and dose ladders, and lets you add custom ones.
Which app is better for TRT?
Dose Track. It models testosterone esters, tracks bloodwork against your own targets and separates SC and IM sites. Peppy's catalog is peptides and GLP-1s; it has no labs feature.
Is Dose Track private?
Dose Track says it is "100% on-device" and that your data never touches its servers. Peppy makes the same promise: no account, on your iPhone and your iCloud only.
Does Peppy have a dose simulator?
No. Peppy shows the estimated "Active in your system" curve from what you have logged (Pro), but it does not simulate hypothetical protocol changes the way Dose Track's Dial-In does.
Not medical advice. Peppy is a tracking tool, not medical advice. Dose calculations are mathematical conversions only. Always follow your prescriber's instructions and verify every draw-up yourself.
