Who each app is for

Peppy vs MeAgain is a question of how much app you want around the shot. MeAgain calls itself "the simple place to track every dose and everything in between", and the "everything in between" is the point: snap a photo or speak and it estimates protein, fiber and water; set goals; log side effects with severity; track weight and progress photos; and keep a Tamagotchi-style "Capy" widget and chat companion to nudge habits along. It supports Zepbound, Wegovy (shot and pill), Ozempic, Mounjaro, Foundayo and compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, on iPhone and Android. If you are new to GLP-1s and want coaching, habits and nutrition in one place, MeAgain is built for you.

Peppy is the opposite shape: a shot tracker that stays out of your kitchen. It handles the medication side for 123 compounds, GLP-1 pens and research vials alike, with a reconstitution calculator, a body map that picks your next site, dose step-ups and cycles, and weight and side effects tied to dose day. No food, no AI, no account. iPhone only.

Feature by feature

The table reflects each app's own site or App Store page as of 2026-08-30.

Food and habits. MeAgain wins, clearly. Peppy does not log meals, macros or water, and has nothing like the Capy widget. Peppy's check-in covers weight, up to 28 side effects on a 1 to 5 scale, feelings such as appetite control and energy, a note and a progress photo (Pro). See tracking GLP-1 side effects and food noise.

Units and vials. MeAgain supports compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide but does not list a reconstitution calculator. Peppy's is free: vial mg, water mL and dose in, "Draw up N units" out, with a warning when it will not fit a 1 mL syringe. Always verify with your prescriber.

Site rotation. MeAgain records injection sites; its site does not describe rotation. Peppy's Log shot sheet is a 13-site front and back body map that marks the suggested site and shows when you last used it.

Levels. MeAgain's "Perfect Dose Day" estimates where your medication level is so you can time your dose. Peppy's "Active in your system" curve (Pro) is a half-life estimate for about 62 compounds, shown next to your weight and side-effect charts. Neither is a measurement.

Inventory, titration, cycles, export. None are listed for MeAgain. In Peppy they are Pro: doses left per vial with a runs-out date, a dose ladder that auto-advances, on/off cycles, and a PDF or CSV export for your doctor.

Pricing

MeAgain's tracking lives inside MeAgain Premium. The site does not publish prices; the App Store listing shows in-app purchases ranging from $14.99 to $119.99 without naming what each buys, so check the app itself before you commit.

Peppy is free for one active protocol with logging, calendar, calculator, check-ins, site rotation, Apple Health and iCloud. Pro is $29.99 a year or $5.99 a week with a 7-day trial and adds reminders, insights charts, unlimited protocols, cycles and titration, inventory, photos, export and widgets.

Privacy and data

MeAgain's App Store privacy label lists health and fitness data, purchases, contact info, user content, search history and usage data as linked to you, and identifiers used to track you across apps. Its site notes it does not provide medical advice and links a health data privacy policy. Export is not listed.

Peppy has no account, collects no health data on a server, and keeps everything on your iPhone and in your iCloud. Export (Pro) produces a file only you send. See private peptide tracker.

How to do this in Peppy

  1. Protocols tab, tap +, search your medication. Zepbound, Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro and compounded versions are built in. Set dose, schedule and color.
  2. On a compounded vial, open the Calculator in the editor: vial mg, water mL, dose. Note the units.
  3. Calendar: tap the days you already dosed and choose Add dose so your history and streak carry over.
  4. Settings: turn on "Sync weight with Apple Health" to import your weight history. See GLP-1 weight tracker with Apple Health.
  5. Pick your tracked side effects under Settings ▸ "Side effects & feelings to track", then do the daily check-in from the Today tab.
